January 31st of 2018 many suffered the loss of a 15-year-old boy named Ethan song. Ethan was born on January 19, 2003 in New Haven, Connecticut to Kristin and Michael Song. He was a Freshman at Guilford High School and was expected to graduate with the Class of 2021. 
Ethan was a remarkable young man. Ethan's ability to calm and win the hearts of dozens of his mom's "foster dogs" earned him the nickname of "The Dog Whisperer". Ethan was a partner in an organization called Unified Sports serving developmentally challenged children in the community. At school, Ethan was involved in the Model United Nations. He was involved in Pilgrim Fellowship through the Congregational Church. 

Ethan dedicated so much of his time to helping the community which is why we have started the Ethan Song Kindness project, so his compassion can live on through the actions of those he's touched.
